Philosophy

The staff of Mount Peace Child Development Center provides a loving environment where children learn, play, and develop positive social skills.  We believe that children learn best by doing, therefore, it is our philosophy to provide activities that will stimulate your child and aid in his or her well-rounded growth.  We believe that through a close interaction between parents and staff, your child benefits the most and is given the best opportunity to reach his/her potential.

The Mount Peace staff creates an atmosphere of support as well as provide the materials, equipment and experience required to optimize the growth of each and every child.  Children's activities at mount Peace CDC will encourage self-confidence, spontaneity, curiosity, and self-discipline, which will assist in the development of the child's social, physical, and emotional health.

Our Mission

The Mount peace CDC Staff welcomes you and your child to our child development program.  We offer state licensed, year round care for infants (6 weeks) to school age.  We are dedicated to the development of the whole child.  We provide a safe nurturing, and Christian environment to meet the academic, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of each child.

Faculty

All faculty members are required to be certified in First Aid and CPR.  Additionally, each faculty member will have had a criminal background check prior to hiring.  We DO NOT hire individuals convicted of child abuse or neglect.  We only accept teachers with a commitment to positive interaction with parents and children.

In order to optimize your child's growth and development, we hire teachers who are interested in providing quality care and in developing a stimulating environment for the children at Mount Peace CDC.

Security Personnel is provided during operational hours.
